Routes Silk Road is back in Nur-Sultan

The regional branch of the big aviation forum - Routes Silk Road 2019, has started its work today. It will last 3 days, from 15th to 17th of July in the Palace of Independence.

Today, the Routes Silk Road 2019 airline and airways development forum began its work in Nur-Sultan. For the first time in Central Asia, the regional division of Routes events opened the doors for delegates from more than 40 airlines and 30 airports and companies for the development of the tourism industry. Routes Silk Road 2019 is a revival of a good tradition, which was ended in Tbilisi in 2014.

Routes Silk Road is a unique networking platform that allows delegates to communicate on a wide range of topics, such as the investment, aviation, and tourism potentials; as well as the prospects and issues of international and regional cooperation in the area of aviation and transport.

One of the most important focuses of the forum is the development of routes and the opening of new flights and destinations. Another important factor is the development of the transit attractiveness of the city of Nur-Sultan, as mentioned by the Chairman of the Board of the International Airport Nursultan Nazarbayev - Radilbek Adimolda and IATA Regional Director - Jordan Karamalakov.
Nur-Sultan is a dynamically developing metropolis, and holding the prestigious international event “Routes Silk Road 2019” will make a significant contribution to promoting the city as an attractive destination for business events, as well as the tourist and logistics business of the hub of Central Asia.
